- While working on an old board, I was told that the source files had been lost. This is infuriating, and as a result had to reverse-engineer the programming data. Soon afterwards I wrote GalDis, which will turn binary or ".JED" files into something like source code for certain devices.
- I use a lot of microprocessors in various projects, and since I like to be sure of my hardware before launching complex software, I wrote CSum, which adds checksums to firmware.
